The traditional dinner is the foundation of any stag weekend in Lisbon or hen party. It solves the hardest problem of a group weekend — feeding 10–40 people well, at the same time, in the same place, with drinks flowing and the energy building towards the evening out. WHAT IT ACTUALLY FEELS LIKE
Most groups book dinner for 7:30pm or 8pm — early enough to enjoy the full 2-hour meal without rushing, late enough to transition naturally into the evening out. Arrival is seated immediately in your private dining area. Welcome drinks (vinho verde or sangria) are on the table within minutes. The first plates arrive shortly after — starters of Portuguese ham, cheese, olives and the best bread you'll eat all week.
The main courses arrive as sharing platters: arroz de marisco (the best seafood rice in Europe when done right), bacalhau à brás (salt cod shredded with onions, eggs and crispy potatoes), polvo à lagareiro (slow-roasted octopus with smashed potatoes and olive oil), and slow-roasted Portuguese pork. The portions are enormous — most groups admit defeat before finishing everything. The drinks never run dry.
The meal finishes with pastéis de nata and Portuguese rice pudding for dessert, then espresso for anyone who wants it. By 9:30pm or 10pm the group is fed, properly warmed up with sangria and ready to move on. Most groups go directly from dinner into a bar crawl (perfect timing) or a night at a gentlemen's club. For an even better start to the evening, pair dinner with a wine tasting beforehand.

The traditional dinner is the backbone of every stag do and hen weekend we organise. Groups of 8 lads need serious food before 5 hours of drinking. Groups of 14 hens need somewhere beautiful to sit together and enjoy the start of the evening. The private dining area means the group can be as loud and energetic as it wants without affecting other diners.
For mixed groups, corporate retreats, birthday parties or any multi-person booking where food quality actually matters, the same format works perfectly. We've done dinners for 40+ at a single table. The unlimited drink package is what makes it financially straightforward — no arguments about rounds, no splitting the bill, no "who had the sparkling water" at the end.
Minimum group size is 8 people, maximum is 40 at a single table. For groups of 50+ we can arrange two adjacent private rooms in the same restaurant. Vegetarian, vegan, coeliac and other dietary requirements are all handled — just let us know when enquiring and we confirm with the chef in advance.

Yes — vegetarians, vegans, coeliacs, lactose intolerant, halal and any other dietary requirements are all handled. Just let us know when enquiring and we'll confirm each requirement with the restaurant's chef in advance. Nobody is served something they can't eat.
We've run group dinners for everything from 8 to 60 people. Our main restaurant has private dining spaces that flex from 8 to 40 at a single table. For 40+ we use two adjacent private rooms. Let us know your group size when enquiring.
Most groups start dinner at 7:30pm or 8pm. If you're doing a bar crawl afterwards, 7:30pm gives you a perfect 2-hour meal finishing around 9:30pm — exactly when Lisbon nightlife is starting to peak. For earlier bookings we start from 6:30pm.
