The Sado Estuary Nature Reserve in Setúbal is known for being a natural habitat for dolphins and other cetacean species. This 3-hour dolphin and other whale watching tour is a great opportunity not only to relax, but also to get to know better the biodiversity of the Arrábida, Tróia and Sado estuary coasts.
In addition to its lush landscapes, the Sado estuary is also home to some species of cetaceans. Along the coast of Arrábida and Tróia, we will often find two species of cetaceans: the bottlenose dolphin and the common dolphin , less frequent but with some regularity, and dwarf whales can also be seen . This boat tour of dolphins and other cetaceans observation lasts for about 3 hours. The best time to observe dolphins in the Sado Estuary is from April to October.
